One of the major things that Air n-Aithesc CRs are working on is to put out practical material for other CRs and CR friendly people. This is where Air n-Aithesc magazine and An Leabhar Urnaí: A Book of Celtic Reconstructionist Friendly Prayers came from. An Leahar Urnaí came about because there was no book of prayers that was aimed at CRs. It was inspired by Ceisiwr Serith’s books A Book of Pagan Prayer and A Pagan Ritual Prayer Book.
The book offers prayers and invocations in Old Irish, and Gaulish, with their English translations; as well as prayers in English to Welsh, Irish and Gaulish Gods. The authors and editor also took the time to add a little information on the Gods they pray to and the reasons behind writing their prayers or invocations.
